Defied this mark at Beverley (8.4f, good to firm) last summer but has mixed record in five runs for current yard and was out the back at Doncaster (7f, good) last month; has something to prove and he's untried as a sprinter.

Well handicapped on old form but last win was in May 2023 and he's finished down the field in three runs this season; visor now returns and he needs to raise his game.

Unexposed colt who won a Newcastle novice (6f, AW) in November and reappeared with good second on handicap debut at Wolverhampton last month; nudged up 2lb but he pulled clear of the third last time and is open to more progress back on turf; interesting contender.

Course winner who ended a lengthy losing run when scoring off a reduced mark at Newbury (6f, good to firm) last month; up 3lb but that was a comfortable win from off the pace and he remains well treated on old form; shortlisted.
