Had been struggling until he caused a shock when winning a 1m handicap at Windsor (good to firm; 40-1) under Ashley Lewis nine days ago; that was his first go at this trip and he gets a chance to prove it was no fluke under a 5lb penalty.

Has earned four of his five wins here, three over C&D (all on a sound surface); placed again here twice this season but was below par on his penultimate start and finished last 27 days ago (both C&D); questions to answer now.

Running well in this headgear combination, including when second in a C&D classified in June, prior to making her turf breakthrough at Pontefract (1m, good to firm) nine days ago; 4lb penalty but she's likely to go well again.

Lightly raced 4yo who has found his feet for this yard, finishing third in a Lingfield amateur riders' race (AW) on stable debut then going close to a first success in a classified event here (also 1m2f, good) 12 days ago; may improve again and this drop back in trip is probably no issue.

Won her last two, both here, initially over 7f (good to firm) before beating two others for a first win at 1m (good) last week; that steadily run apprentices' race didn't prove her stamina but she escapes a penalty; respected.
