Race Le Veinard Handicap

Encouraging second at Thirsk (7f, good) last month on second start then went one better at Wolverhampton (7f, AW); begins handicap life on a fair mark and this unexposed filly is open to further improvement.

Won at Ripon (6f, soft) last September on second and final 2yo start and followed up in handicap at Wolverhampton (6f, AW) in May; finished held in fourth at Thirsk (6f, good) since but not written off for in-form yard.

Well beaten at Redcar in May in sole handicap but failed to stay 1m2f; runner-up in maidens over 7f/1m since (soft/good to firm) and returns to a handicap off what looks a fair mark; could be in the mix.

Found trouble in running when mid-division over C&D (good) on last month's handicap debut before good second to an improved winner at Ayr (7f, good); strong claims off the same mark as last time.

Won Redcar novice (6f, good to firm) last June and returned to form to make it 2-2 there in May (7f, good to firm); has to prove he can do it away from Redcar but he's entitled to respect on the back of that win.
