Pinker's Pond Apprentice Handicap

Five-time turf winner who posted three AW wins between last October and this January; however, he was well beaten on AW on his two outings in the spring and needs to get back on track.

8yo whose losing run goes back to July 2023 but he's run well more often than not this year, most recently fourth of 18 at Thirsk (6f, good); has won here four times (including C&D) and holds each-way claims.

Some good form in defeat over 6f since the hood went on; hasn't shone over 7f for this yard but all of his wins have come over this distance and he could be involved; reapplied cheekpieces join the hood.

Two wins last summer (7f/7.4f) and she's below her last winning mark; a couple of fair efforts in the first half of this spring but two lesser performances have followed and she has to raise her game.

Found trouble in running over C&D last month and went close at Musselburgh (7f, good) last Tuesday; has a good record at the Edinburgh venue but won over this C&D (good to firm) last June and she's one to consider.
