Successful 1m debut at Newmarket in October and he ran to a useful level when second of four in Listed race there (1m2f, good) in May; however, he found little back over 1m here since (first-time cheekpieces, retained) and has a ground query, having missed a race on good to firm in May.

Made progress with virtually every run at 1m and 1m1f (on good to firm and good) earlier, doing well to be a close third of 13 in a strong Newmarket handicap in May; a remote finish in the Hunt Cup at Royal Ascot (11-1) last month was a setback but it wouldn't surprise if his return to form was swift in this much less competitive race.

Triple Group 3 winner at 1m (good and soft) on the continent in 2022 and 2023; mixed over the last 12 months, though, and after struggling a long way out in a 1m4f York handicap in May, on good to firm, he was taken out of a race on that surface since; the warm weather spells danger.

Won first two starts for this yard in 2023, a valuable Goodwood handicap (1m2f, good to soft; off 5lb higher) and a Grade 3 at Kentucky (1m, firm); had some useful form in 2024 and although he made slow start to 2025 he had a blocked passage in the Hunt Cup at Ascot before finishing third in his group; in better shape than his form figures suggest; thereabouts.

Resilient 9yo who can still give it plenty in competitive handicaps, as when beating 16 rivals at York (about 1m2f, good to firm; off 5lb higher) last August; however, he has less obvious claims on subsequent handicap runs, including back at York in June.
