Won off 1lb higher at Wolverhampton (9.4f, AW) in November but he's been disappointing since including in two runs this season; now drops back into a Class 5 event but he needs to rediscover his spark.

Won over C&D (good) and at Hamilton (1m3f, good to firm) in the spring but he's weakened in last three runs; bit to prove but this is a drop back in grade and he has possibilities if he can get back near best.

Now 8lb lower than when winning for the Crisfords at Newbury (1m2f, good to firm) last August; finished in rear in four runs for current yard but he shaped better than the bare facts at Ayr last time; has had wind surgery since and he needs a close look after a short break.

Defied this mark at Southwell (1m4f, AW) last August; has not been at the same level in only four runs since but he ran well for a long way over C&D (good to firm) last month; cheekpieces are now added and it wouldn't be a surprise if he made a bold bid on this drop back in grade.

Made his breakthrough (14th attempt) when making all for an emphatic win at York (1m2f, good to firm) in May; well held under penalty there eight days later but he got pestered for the lead and that form has been boosted by the runner-up since; still looks on a workable mark and he's a big player if he's allowed to dictate this time.
