Made the frame on first six starts before coming good in style in 1m6f Goodwood maiden 15 days ago, scoring by 7l; quite closely matched with Many Men and Novelista on penultimate Doncaster form.

Came good in 1m4f Chepstow novice before finishing a creditable sixth of 19 in the ultra-competitive King George Handicap at Royal Ascot (1m4f, good to firm); the first-time cheekpieces he wore on that occasion are discarded; first attempt at 1m6f; not discounted.

Had Last Galileo and Novelista behind him when third in a strong York Dante meeting handicap (1m4f, good to firm) before staying on well to edge out Novelista (Way Of Stars fourth, Pole Star sixth) when stepped up to 1m6f at Doncaster (good) four weeks ago; raised a further 5lb but it was a competitive race on Town Moor and he could easily have more to offer at this trip.

Ready winner of a 1m4f French maiden in the mud in June; ran to a similar level when 9l fifth in a Naas Listed race over an extended 1m2f ten days ago, plugging on from the rear in a style which suggests this much longer trip could suit, a view which is backed up by her pedigree.
