Has raced over further for the majority of his career but shaped when third over 8.5f here (good) in April on stable debut as though today's distance could be ideal; hasn't kicked on from that run on his two starts since (at Goodwood over 7f and 1m) but he's worth a second look now back here.

Close third off lower AW mark at Kempton (1m) in May and fair effort when third at Salisbury (7f, good to firm) since; two of his last three wins have come over this C&D and he's respected now back here.

Below par on last two starts but went very close on reappearance at Kempton in April and this C&D winner ran really well on the two previous occasions he has tried first-time headgear (cheekpieces/hood), so the new blinkers are an interesting angle this evening; runs off last winning mark.
