Blew the start when odds-on for reappearance in France and finished last of nine; much better judged on a stellar 3yo campaign which culminated in a close second in the Sprint Cup at Haydock and a narrow win in the British Champions Sprint at Ascot, both Group 1s over 6f; sole AW run was a debut win at Kempton last spring; has to concede weight all round but this top-class sprinter may well be up to the task.
Won a German 6f Group 3 last summer when trained by Andrew Balding and made an encouraging start for new yard when third in Listed race at Wolverhampton (7f, AW) in March; disappointing for no obvious reason next time; needs to bounce back but that's possible after three months off.
0-4 over 1m+ last year; dropped in trip and made all in 7f Listed race at Haydock in May but didn't give his running in Group 3 over same C&D three weeks later; now runs in a sprint for the first time since his (winning) debut and also tackles the AW for the first time, so he has a bit to prove, although first-time blinkers could have a positive effect.
Tremendous money-spinner with a fine record (5-13) on the AW; however, he hasn't been quite at his best this year and he beat only one home in the Group 1 Queen Elizabeth Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot (wore cheekpieces) last week; needs to get back on track.
Useful 6f/7f performer; missed 2024 but has shown he retains all his ability this year, running as well as could have been expected when last of five to Alyanaabi in Listed race at Haydock seven weeks ago; that was a stern assignment and this one is no easier.
