Comfortably won Class 2 Kelso handicap (2m, good) by 10l last month and is now 5-11 over hurdles; might still be on the upgrade and latest 8lb rise does not look excessive; makes obvious appeal.

Headstrong front-runner who gained two of her five hurdling wins over C&D and is well suited by good ground; absent since her very respectable third in Listed grade at Wetherby (2m, good) in November but has won when fresh before and has a big role to play here if fully tuned up.

Won off a higher chase mark for Dan Skelton last summer but, following a ten-month break, was soundly beaten over hurdles for new stable in May; others in the line-up have much less to prove.

Fair Flat racer who is 3-3 in maiden/novice hurdles for new stable this spring, including good-ground C&D success; tackles much stronger opposition on this handicap debut but it's hard to gauge the limit of his ability.

Made unconvincing start to chasing career last season (three attempts) and finished well down the field when back over hurdles at Worcester (2m4f, good) six weeks ago; very well handicapped now but needs to get his career back on track and is not sure to be suited by this drop back in trip.
