Al Basti Equiworld Dubai Dash Handicap

Has done well on AW since last July and this front-runner transferred her improvement back to turf to win a 13-runner handicap over C&D (good) four weeks ago; the second and third (Jm Jungle) both won next time and a 6lb rise should not prevent another very bold show from this progressive 5yo.

Very well handicapped on his peak 2022 form and he ran some fair races last September-December following a long absence; however, he returns from some more time off today and others appeal more in this hot race.

Below par in seventh in Group 3/Listed races on his two outings this season; however, he's back in cheekpieces today, in which he won the Group 3 Palace House Stakes at Newmarket (5f, good) last May; not ruled out.

Front-runner who was a close fourth of 22 to Jm Jungle here (5.4f, good to firm) last August and is now 2lb lower; not written off but he hasn't been at his very best on his three outings this season.

Kicked off campaign with three fine runs in defeat (two over C&D and two behind subsequent Group 1 winner American Affair) and he deservedly return to winning ways in the Dash at Epsom (5f, good) three weeks ago; he's up 5lb to a career-high mark but this thriving 5yo has to be respected.
