British Stallion Studs EBF Novice Stakes (GBB/GBBPlus Race)

Blew the start when a hot favourite on his debut in April (1m2f, good) but still ran to a fair level; below par at Haydock next time but quickly back on the up when third of six at Doncaster three weeks ago (1m2f, good; cheekpieces for the first time); the pair to beat him there both boast BHA ratings in the mid 90s and he'll be bang there with a repeat.

Didn't run badly on his Salisbury debut (1m2f, good to firm) last month but he was beaten 19l into third and this looks another stiff task.

Too green to do himself justice at Chelmsford on debut 16 days ago (1m2f); bred to do much better in time but Antrim provides the stable with a more obvious winner.

33-1 when offering little short-term promise at Nottingham in April (1m2f, good).

9-1, green and made some nice late headway when seventh of ten on his Southwell debut 11 days ago (1m); this longer trip should suit well and he's open to plenty of improvement; interesting to see how he goes in the betting in relation to stablemate Tenability.
