Had some strong form for Charlie Fellowes last year and he has continued on the upgrade, most recently when beating his 15 rivals at Haydock 25 days ago (6f, good); runner-up on good to firm previous two starts; may not want the ground too quick but it's likely he has more to offer this year.

Looked good when beating his 14 rivals at Thirsk on debut in April and defied a penalty at Newbury (again 7f on good) one month later; the Newbury second and third have won since; good prospect and the drop to sprinting shouldn't be an issue (dam won the Abbaye); an intriguing contender.

Prominent racer; returned to action with a game 6f win at Doncaster in March; below par at the Craven meeting (blew the start) but back on track with a second of 16 at York's Dante meeting six weeks ago (6f, good to firm); nudged back up 1lb but still well handicapped on his 2024 best; another big effort seems likely.

Highly tried after his Ayr win (6f, good to firm) 12 months ago, placed in a Newbury Listed event before sixth of nine in a Group 2 at Glorious Goodwood; well beaten in 7f Listed race at Newmarket on reappearance eight weeks ago, after which he was gelded; makes handicap debut against useful opposition.

Two wins as a 2yo, the first in a C&D maiden (good); disappointed as a warm favourite at Windsor last month but she was back on track when second in a 7f handicap here ten days ago, having to wait for a gap but pulling clear with the winner in the closing stages; takes on stronger opposition today but there's a suspicion she's ahead of her mark.
