Two comfortable wins in the spring (7f/1m, good to firm) and fair fifth at York (1m1f, good to firm) 11 days ago, shaping as though he would appreciate the return to 1m; effective on good to soft; not ruled out.

Won at Lingfield (1m, AW) in April and also on turf there (7.6f, good to firm) there last month, when readily beating his three rivals; won on soft ground last year; drops back down in grade today but he hasn't been at his best the last twice and needs something extra this afternoon.

Reappeared with promising third at Kempton (1m, AW) in April when 2lb higher; has failed to kick on from that on his two starts since but he drops back down in grade today and is not ruled out; versatile ground-wise.

On a reduced mark and he ran well when a close third at Newcastle (1m2f, AW) in March; however, soundly beaten at Lingfield (1m2f, AW) since and his last two wins (in 2023) came over 1m4f/1m2f; has never run over a trip this short and has a couple of questions to answer.

A shade underwhelming across his three starts this season but he drops back down in grade today and is 6lb lower than when a close third of 14 at Ayr last September; wears first-time cheekpieces (goes without his usual tongue-tie) and it will be no surprise if he has a big part to play.
