Debenhams Handicap (GBBPlus Race)

Overcame a steady pace to make a successful reappearance in a Kempton maiden (1m4f, AW) last month; visor added for his handicap debut back on turf and he remains open to improvement.

Out of the frame in both starts on soft ground (7f/1m) last autumn, but a different story when making a winning return in a Nottingham maiden (1m, good) this month; dam won a Listed race over this trip so interesting now facing a stiffer test on handicap debut.

Made just about all when winning an Ayr novice (1m, good) last October and put up his best effort since when second of ten in a Haydock handicap (1m4f, good) three weeks ago (Is I Right and Atlantic Sunset behind); back up 2lb, but subsequent wins by the fifth and sixth give the form some substance; respected.

Has been kept busy, winning three times over 1m/1m4f on the AW since December (one a dead-heat), but well held in his last two starts back on turf; best watched for now despite a 3lb drop.

Made all when making a successful handicap debut at Windsor (11.4f, good to firm) last month and ran at least as well when beaten a length into third of ten at Salisbury (1m2f, good to firm) ten days ago; 1lb well in as a result of that and should go well again back up in trip.
