The going is Good To Firm.
Looked nothing special in maidens before defying a lowish mark in her second nursery (6f, good); ran well in another handicap on return (7f) but was beaten and she was again found wanting when up against it in a Group 3 last time; will need her best yet and is looking exposed, other than she's not yet tried a mile.
Last year's two runs were on heavy ground over 7f, winning on debut but disappointing in a Listed race; the ground was good for her handicap debut at Nottingham 19 days ago and she arrived from off the pace to win ridden out by 2l from an older horse who retains potential; so too does this filly, who could take the 7lb rise in her stride; dangerous.
Won two minor races on the AW, at 1m and 1m3f; her second run at Listed level was better than the first but there were no excuses in that Goodwood race (1m2f, good), unlike with Never Let Go who was still ahead of her.
Relinquished her unbeaten record in the Group 1 Fillies' Mile last October; impressive debut winner over 7f (sole run on fast ground) and evidently not short of speed, having coped well with 6f in the Group 3 Dick Poole at Salisbury (good to soft) next time; however, elements of her pedigree suggest she'll stay 1m and the potential is there to revert back to Group races sooner rather than later; could easily have the class to cope with her big weight on handicap debut; first-time blinkers suggest connections mean business.
This is a belated handicap debut on her 11th start but she's exposed now and, while there's been more than enough this year at up to 1m to confirm that this 5f 2yo Listed winner has trained on, it's easy to envisage a handful being more kindly treated.
