Ran well in his one visit here (May 2022); low-key stable debut two weeks ago (behind a couple of reopposing rivals) but you don't have to go far back to find form that gives him good claims; Jack Dace is excellent value for his 7lb claim; could go well with blinkers returned.

New yard has found the key to him and he comes here chasing a four-timer after 6f AW wins at Wolverhampton (two) and Kempton (bare form can be upgraded); improving and a 4lb rise is fair but this is a deeper race.

Three good AW runs in February, winning 5f handicaps at Lingfield and Wolverhampton before coming up just shy in his hat-trick bid at Southwell; form dipped on turf last month and he'll need better back up to 6f.

Produced a strong late burst to win at Lingfield on April 1 (6f, AW); similar form when third at Leicester two weeks ago, showing he could be just as effective on turf; needs a career best to win but that's not out of the question in his current form.

Won a C&D handicap 12 months ago off this mark; of interest on that run and he also shaped with promise on his seasonal return last month; a lesser effort 13 days ago but he was drawn wide; the booking of Oisin Murphy points to a more prominent showing today.
