Has hung left all three starts this spring and now fitted with first-time headgear; sets a clear standard on a couple of his efforts, though, not least his narrow Yarmouth defeat upped to a similar trip 12 days ago; is the one to beat.

Yard has won this twice in the last three years and this half-brother to four winners looks to have Marnier to worry about, having built on a C&D debut third when runner-up in a match at Chepstow three weeks ago; needs another good step forward, however.
