No win since December 2023 but has been holding his form well; runner-up in two of his last three starts, including at Redcar (7f, good to firm; 11-2) a fortnight ago; should have no issue with this softer ground with Paul Mulrennan aboard for the first time.

Suited by the strong gallop when scoring at Thirsk (7f, good to firm; 11-1) in April, but has struggled to make much of an impact since at Wolverhampton or Leicester; needs to bounce back to form to figure from 2lb above that winning mark.

Veteran; three C&D wins, the latest from a 3lb higher mark (soft) last September; slow to find his feet this year, but did shape marginally better at Hamilton (8.5f; eighth; 50-1) latest; now returns to Catterick and has claims if he can recapture his spark.

1-20; continues to ease in the weights, down to a career-low mark, but hasn't shown enough in either of his last two starts (both 7f at Musselburgh) to suggest his turn is imminent; these newly applied blinkers need to work their magic.

Took advantage of her handy berth when off the mark at the 21st attempt in a newly applied visor at Thirsk (5f, good) last week; reappears quickly under a 5lb penalty (claimer removes 3lb) over this longer trip; it's relevant her dam was a 7f winner, so must enter calculations.
