Easter At Clonmel Races Maiden Hurdle

Improved effort on third (second completed) hurdle start at Bellewstown five days ago, albeit well-held; still looks a work in progress and handicaps may see him in a better light.

Ran well in defeat in three Flat starts in France; the best of four hurdle runs came last time when third at Cork, wearing first-time cheekpieces; the good ground then probably helped and should go close today as long as the ground doesn't get too soft.

Showed some ability in three AW Flat maidens for former yard; tailed-off on recent hurdles debut so can't be fancied on that form.

First foal; dam unraced half-sister to winners Rindoon (useful 2m hurdle/chase) and Johnny Jump Up (2m1f hurdle/2m4f chase); 5,000euros 3yo is by a promising young sire but will have to be smart to take this on debut; check market.

Tailed-off in two maiden hurdles and can't be fancied on that form.
