His sole win from 14 starts came in a three-runner maiden at Chepstow last August (5f, good to soft); well beaten in two handicaps afterwards; opposable on his return.

Still seeking a first win for this yard but there were positives to be gleaned from last month's seasonal return at Southwell (5f), his first run after wind surgery; should be suited by the return to 6f on that evidence; one to take seriously.

50-1 for last month's seasonal return/stable debut and dropped away in the closing stages; dropped 2lb but need to see more before getting involved; stable also run Rock Of England.

He didn't have to improve on his turf form to make a winning AW debut at Newcastle in November (first run at 5f); an 8lb rise for that defeat of three rivals who have done nothing for the form since looks tough.

Several good runs last year, including C&D, before winning at Ripon in August off a 3lb lower mark; ended last season quietly, though, and he returns to action in a change of headgear.
