Racing Welfare Supporting Mental Health Awareness Handicap Chase (GBB Race)

Four C&D wins (good and good to soft) last year before the momentum stalled; of interest back here off 2lb lower than his latest win in September but it was disappointing to see him beaten quite so far off his lower hurdle mark last week.

Winner of his sole course start, a 3m2f hurdle; 2-13 over fences and he might have added a third but for a minor late mistake at Market Rasen (3m, good; winner followed up since) recently; can go well off the same mark.

High-class hurdler/chaser in his prime but has struggled for a long time now and although this is a welcome drop in grade he continues with something to prove; cheekpieces discarded.

Won three from four chase completions between June and September (2m3f-2m5f; good) last year but was pulled up in his only start beyond the latter trip; finished close up at Plumpton recently on return from wind surgery but the stamina question needs to be answered.

Bumper winner who was off the mark over hurdles here last July; there wasn't much wrong with her chase debut here (2m5f, soft) in September and she should go on from that following a good comeback against an in-form rival in a Chepstow hurdle (2m7f, good) last month.
