The Valley 'National Hunt' Maiden Hurdle (GBB Race)

Some promise in a point and then a bumper but was beaten when falling on his hurdling debut and tailed off in his second attempt.

Second to the smart Ballybow in an Irish point and has run well to be fourth in two good-ground bumpers, the first won by Destination Dubai who went on to be placed at Aintree; hurdling debutant and bred to improve with his racing.

From the front, he had the long odds-on favourite in some bother at Southwell (2m, good to soft) only to ultimately go down by 3l (distance clear of the remainder); had wind surgery and now tongue tied; sets the standard by some way.

Tailed off in good-ground novice hurdles at Hereford and Ludlow; the new tongue-tie will need to make a huge difference.

Showed some ability when fourth of 11 runners in a 2m4f British point two months ago; joined a good yard for rules action.
