Done well in the spring in the past and was back to his best in the reapplied visor at Pontefract last Wednesday; will be 2lb higher than under the penalty from tomorrow and has every chance of making it 2-2 round here.

Boasts a solid record over C&D and is entitled to have come on for his Beverley comeback following six months off, albeit he didn't show a lot; may need some help from the handicapper now (5lb above his highest winning mark).

The years looked to be catching up last season but he's gone well fresh in the past and returned with a solid effort off 2lb lower at Doncaster in March; didn't build on that latest and such an easy 5f wouldn't appeal as optimal.

Favourite on his Epsom comeback last month, having been gelded over the winter, but things didn't pan out his way; now 2lb below his last winning mark and an easy 5f is ideal, so he's shortlisted from a handy draw.

Took his Catterick record to 4-8 when making all in an apprentice handicap 16 days ago; goes well here too and is drawn near the rail but there's little room for manoeuvre off this mark, having been upped 4lb.
