Progressive on varied ground in his four handicaps last April-July, culminating in a 2m win; also scored twice over hurdles before his close second when back to Flat on Kempton AW (2m; first two well clear) 12 days ago; up another 2lb but has leading claims if he takes to the new cheekpieces.

Won off 2lb higher at Goodwood (1m6f, good) last May, form which he's failed to match since but his last-gasp win under Taryn Langley in a warm race at Lingfield (2m, AW) 15 days ago was a healthy step back in the right direction; back up 4lb but back in serious calculations.

Won three times on soft ground here in 2022 but no joy since on the Flat, with all his last six Flat races on turf having also been at this track; he has scored over hurdles, including on good ground in March with easily the best of his four runs this year; perhaps not the percentage call.

Unraced on firmer than good; three wins in France in 2022; 0-12 for David O'Meara before sold for 25,000gns last October and he finished last of seven at Ripon (1m4f; 10-1) last Saturday on debut for new connections; plenty of 2024 form over 1m4f-2m gives him a good shout, however.

Six-race maiden; twice highly tried (including in the Derby) last June then fared better back at novice level in October on final outing (1m6f); gelded since; still needs to build on that latest run but he might benefit from handicapping for the first time and from being tried over 2m.
