Stamford Agricultural Services Limited Novices' Handicap Chase

Won at Worcester (2m4f, good) last summer, his second run after returning to racing under rules, but came back from break with two disappointing runs during the winter (hurdle/chase) and arrives here with a bit to prove.

Disappointed when upped to 3m last month and is now 0-5 over hurdles but was close second in 16-runner handicap at Southwell (2m4f, good to soft; first-time tongue-tie/cheekpieces) two starts ago and will play a big role here if able to transfer that form to fences.

Won a point in 2022 and was second in a good-ground hunter chase two months later; still unexposed under rules but lacked fluency when pulled up in Market Rasen handicap chase in February and needs help from the first-time cheekpieces.

Now 2lb lower than when winning on seasonal/chase debut at Ludlow (2m4f, good) in October but has rather mixed record since; tailed off over C&D (good) three weeks ago and can't be supported with much confidence.

Irish raider who got off the mark over fences with fairly comfortable success at Thurles (3m1f, good) in December; well beaten when out of the weights at Leopardstown six weeks ago but back in much calmer waters here and features prominently in calculations.
